          Anniversary message from Olivais Branch to WSKO
 
     Celebrating the 61st Anniversary of Shorinji Kempo, the Olivais Branch sent a message to WSKO, congratulating them... Happy Birthday!!!

      Miss Yuuki So,
      Gassho.

      Sixty one years ago Kaiso So Doshin Sensei founded in the post-war Japan something very reach as Shorinji Kempo and its related Movement, which spread around the world in more than 30 countries.
The conditions at the time were dramatic in many aspects, as socially and economically, and Shorinji Kempo helped for shore Japan to become the great nation it is for many decades.
      Unfortunately many countries or regions still live today in permanent war or fear, and in such inhuman living conditions that make us think and reflect about the meaning of live and the meaning of our daily effort (or not enough effort) to help change the dramatic situation in which hundreds of million people live every day, many of them innocent and unprotected children.
      I’m pretty shore that one of the main Kaiso's purposes was that we, kenshi and leaders, really try to change this situation trough the development of the Jiko Kakuritsu and the Jita Kyoraku.
      In the dramatic moments the world is passing by recently (with the economy collapsing and in severe crisis which affect every country) I, as well as our Olivais kenshi and families, truly believe the Shorinji Kempo philosophy and principles are more than ever of great practical application in today’s world.
      Therefore, let us all truly and sincerely contribute to a better and also more ecological live in our planet, starting for recognizing the natural differences between all women and men seated next to us, and around the world.
      We fully trust on Shorinji Kempo Group and our leader So Sai to continue helping us reaching this goal.

      Olivais Branch invites all kenshi, and their family and friends to participate in the 1st camping organized by own branch. This will be on 25th and 26th of October in the Orbitur Camp Park in Guincho. This camping in integrated in the 61st Shorinji Kempo's Anniversary celebration. We invite all to participate...
