          In the week-end, the 13th to June 15th, took place in Salvaterra de Magos the National Gasshuku which was attended by the President of the World Shorinji Kempo Organization (WSKO), Mrs Yuuki So and the Master Aosaka (8th Dan of Shorinji Kempo). It was a week-end well spent when various techniques were trained. On Saturday night, was still held a gala dinner in the presence of Mrs Yuuki So and Master Aosaka, it was a time of sharing and coexistence between people of different associations, ages and graduations.
          Are already available, in the Gallery of this site, some photos of Gasshuku National 2008, we are working quickly to offer here, a kind of "report" on what was this stage. We hope to be brief, this means have it ready by the end of the month. Thank you! Good training ...

      13th of June 2008
           Today began the National Gasshuku that counts with the presence of President of the World Shorinji Kempo Organization (WSKO), Mrs  Yuuki SO and the Master AOSAKA, 8 Dan of Shorinji Kempo. This stage takes place this weekend in Salvaterra de Magos and will be attended by around 150 nationals kenshi. The Olivais Branch will participate with a group of 15 members, 5 of them belonging to the children class. The Gasshuku began with the dinner and followed with a demonstration of various techniques made by students of different associations. After the presentations, a member of the Portugal-Japan Friendship Association made a speech, followed by Master Aosaka and, in the end, Mrs Yuuki So. In the speeches of the past 2 was very stressed the importance of students are "a treasure" and they must show their feelings physically ... To close the night, members of the Olivais Branch met to socialize and organize the breakfast of the week-end.
